It is the verification of quality parameters previously established in the specifications of your customer’s expectations regarding product design and functionality.
Quality inspection consists of examining and measuring the quality characteristics of a product, as well as its components and materials from which it is made, or of a particular service or process, all using measuring instruments, comparison patterns or test and testing equipment, to see whether or not it meets the specified requirements.
Inspections can be carried out by different methods and classified in various ways. When quality assurance is carried out, it is necessary to occasionally review the inspection plans by investigating what kind of inspections should be carried out at each stage of the manufacturing process.

Inspection types

• 100% inspection. In this type of inspection, all product units are individually checked to separate good and defective parts.
• Inspection by sampling. This inspection is based on statistical theory; it does not mean simply checking samples taken at random as was often done in the past.
